Concentric Bottom Bracket Main Pivot
The new Altitude is equipped with a concentric bottom bracket main pivot that requires a special tool for assembly and disassembly. This tool (Part Number 1804039) is provided with each frameset and complete bike in the small parts box to ensure that the owner can perform their own service or, if they are having someone else servicing their frame, provide the tool to their service center. The tool is marked with the correct installation torque value (25Nm) to ensure correct assembly. We advise Loctite 242 on the threads of this pivot.
